The weather is getting really cold now, and what does chilly air mean? It means dry and chapped skin, especially on the hands. I get really sore hands at this time of year, so I decided to create a list for those of you who experience similar things. If you want to find out the three best hand creams for autumn, then keep reading!
Hand Food (£5.50)
Anyone who knows me knows that I love Soap and Glory products, and their hand cream is no different. This is a highly moisturising cream, and it has the signature Soap and Glory smell. Another plus point for this cream is that it isn’t too sticky, it does soak in quite quickly, but it’s worth giving it a few minutes. Using this throughout the day will keep your hands in tip-top condition.
Body Shop Hemp (£12)
This may be my favourite hand creams of all time as it is so effective at combatting dry skin. My hands often become severely chapped, but this one really eases it. The moisturiser creates a seal around the skin, so as long as you’ve let it soak in for a few minutes, it’ll protect you all day long, even through washes. Using this on a night really helps to keep hands looking healthy.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula (£2.66)
If you want a cheaper and smaller hand cream then check out the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. This is designed to provide moisture in even the coldest of climates like, you guessed it, Norway! One of the reasons I like this product is because it soaks in so quickly. With this one you don’t struggle to open door handles after applying, there is no sticky residue meaning that there is instant hydration. I often like to carry this with me on the go for whenever I need to relieve dryness.
