As regular readers will know, I swear by the Liz Earle Superskin Eye Cream, or at least I used to. I got a tester of the Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream when I bought their sonic facial brush, but it ended up being accidentally thrown away. I bought a new one so now I’ve had a chance to properly test it out for you guys, and I love it.
This is a hydrating eye cream which is designed to freshen up your peepers when you’re feeling tired and drained. It has a pretty light consistency, much lighter than Liz Earle’s, which is nice as it is more refreshing. It also doesn’t break me out as much under my eyes, so they feel much more nourished, rather than greasy.
The packaging is really bright coloured, which I like as it makes it super eye-catching. It comes in a plastic orange tube with a round applicator on the end, this is to massage the cream into the eye area and it gives it a wonderfully cool and refreshing feeling.
The price of this product is actually pretty reasonable, at £22 per 100ml tube. It may seem a bit expensive, but I think the benefits really outweigh the cost as it is so lightweight and hydrating. My dark circles have slightly improved, and they’re not as puffy or sunken as they were. I would recommend picking this up if you have dark circles or find your eyes get tired frequently.
