It’s that time of year, the time when schools starts back up (great, not!). I decided to create a list of three school makeup bag essentials, products you absolutely need with you when you’re at school. As many schools are now enforcing strict dress code/uniform policy and are against makeup, I’ve included products which are quite subtle so you can get away with them. Hope you enjoy!
Concealer is a must for a school makeup bag as acne is rampant at that age. Even if your school doesn’t allow makeup, I’d say concealer is a safe bet if you blend it well. Any will do, just as long as it matches your skin tone and isn’t too detectable. It’s also great for covering dark circles when you have late nights around exam time.
I always keep powder with me, even now. It’s great for combatting oil and shine, and if it’s translucent it doesn’t look like you have any makeup on. So, if you’re halfway through the school day and your shine has started to make a reappearance, then pat on a little powder and you’ll be good to go, shine-free.
This is a great thing to carry, especially at this time of year when it’s getting colder. There’s nothing worse than chapped lips, and this is the perfect thing to combat it. I always used to have this at school, and since it doesn’t count as makeup you can get away with it. If you do want to add a pop of colour to your lips, try a colour enhancing or tinted one as teachers are less likely to pick it up.
