Spot On: Urban Decay Naked2 Palette

The Urban Decay Naked2 Palette was the first expensive eyeshadow palette that I ever received a few years ago, and I am still using it to this day. It is one of my favourite products in my roster, so I thought it was only fair that I gave it a spot on my blog. If you want to hear why I love this product, keep on reading.

I don’t go crazy when it comes to eyeshadow, I usually like to keep it simple, and most importantly, neutral. When I got this product, I was overjoyed to see a palette that was made completely of neutral shades, finally there was my taste in a product! There are twelve shades in this palette ranging from cool mattes, to shimmery tones, meaning there are so many combinations and looks to be found.

Given that I had only used drugstore eyeshadows so far, I was hugely impressed by the pigmentation of these shades. The formula is more buttery than powdery, meaning that it will slide onto the lid more smoothly and blend easier. I have never had any problems with the blending ability of these shades, they seamlessly work together to create flawless looks which wow anyone with eyes.

Another thing that really shines about the Naked2 palette is its packaging. It comes in a metal case, which seals with a click to prevent it accidentally opening in your bag. It has a weight to it that screams quality, and even comes with a mirror in the lid for those who travel frequently. Whilst the brush that comes with the palette is not my favourite, it is of good quality and is pretty good at applying shadow to the lid, rather than blending.

Overall, I would count this among one of my favourite makeup products of all time and a palette that I will use for years to come. If you are looking for a mainly cool-toned eyeshadow palette, then I would definitely recommend this one due to its great pigmentation and wonderful range of shades. This is 100% Emma approved!
